This is from earlier in the week when Brad (played by Chip Joslin) rammed his truck into a power transformer. The best part is that he managed to sandwich a Zombie between the car and the electrified box! Because the Zombie was only electrocuted, he then had to take a sledgehammer to its brain…because if you don’t destroy the brain, the Zombie ain’t dead!
Our actors come across a hoard of zombies in the middle of the street and have to decide the best way to get through them. Do they try and sneak around or do they bust their way through, splitting heads and spilling blood?
I think you know the answer to that one…
The other day we had a big Zombie horde fighting over some body parts and here’s a shot of the carnage. It always helps to not feed the extras prior to shooting a scene like this. They really get into the “eating”…
Today was another big Zombie day for us here in Pittsburg, TX. Brad (played by Chip Joslin) got to take out a few zombies with his trusty sledgehammer while Frank (played by Frederic Doss) used his trusty 9mm. A good day for the Humans…not such a good day for the Zombies.
Week three started with a bang today as we shut down part of downtown Pittsburg and had our cast running through the streets, shooting zombies left and right!
Also, our contest winner Jessica Hecker was on set today with her friend Brian. Jessica got made up as a Zombie and Brian got to be dragged from a car and eaten many, many times. Everyone here at the HvZ Movie hopes that his bruises heal quickly!

The shoot is progressing nicely and we’re very happy to be done with week two. Only two more weeks to go!

Today was our first day on the Northeast Texas Community College campus and it was kind of a light day. No Zombies were killed today and so we thought we’d give you another look at Frederic Doss as Frank. Here he is, just after taking out a couple of Zombies in the dorm hallways. Notice the impressive spray of blood on the wall and ceiling.

Crazy day today on set. We shot a HUGE scene and left a hospital room drenched in blood, brains and a few other things that I won’t go into right now. Enjoy the shot of a zombie about to take a bite out of a good doctor’s neck…
